LaDonna joined the NFSN staff team in May 2024. She has over 18 years of experience with teaching, training, developing and implementing curriculum, facilitation, and evaluation. Her extensive background includes working in public education as a GED Instructor and Middle and High School Teacher, and working in public health as a public health educator and emergency preparedness training coordinator.

In 2019, she became the Executive Director of the Rome Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth. In that role, she brought together stakeholders and organizations to identify and achieve shared goals through collective impact, served on various community boards, and earned her organization the Floyd County Non-Profit of the Year Award from the Rome Floyd Chamber in 2022.

She became a Certified Trainer on the nationally-adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support in 2020. She was subsequently selected to serve on the joint U.S. Canadian committee that reviewed and revised the Standards, issuing the latest version in 2021.
​
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Columbus State University and is Master Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
She believes in lifelong learning, loves reading books on personal development, and enjoys living life to the fullest. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband at live music and outdoor concerts, and attending her son’s travel soccer games.
